Colony Court Resident Profile

Say Hello to Brad

“I think it’s great here!”

Brad Tetzloff

Colony Court Resident

This month of June 2020, brings us to introduce another of our residents, Brad Tetzloff. Brad was born in Waseca in April of 1959 and went to school in town with his two brothers. He graduated in 1977 and continued his education at St. Cloud State. He returned to Waseca and took a job as a DJ for KOWO Radio. Brad later worked for Clemens Bus Lines driving school bus and motor coach, and Jostens in Owatonna. He stayed with Jostens for 26 years working as a lab tech for the ring department. In his mid-twenties, Brad met Diann Hautamakie. They soon married and had a boy named Nathan. They divorced after a few years and he then met Loree Draper, who became his second wife. They shared a girl named Shelby, who recently gave birth to his first grandchild.

Brad spent his spare time gardening, hunting and fishing and enjoyed time with family. In his later years Brad’s health began to decline, and after 5 years in a Mankato rehab center he was well enough to move to an assisted living environment. He chose Colony Court because it was in his hometown and near his family. “I think it’s great here!” he says.

We think you’re great too, Brad. We’re so glad you chose us!

Thank You

My dad and our family were so blessed to have such an amazing group of people care for my dad. Along with getting to know the other residents was truly a wonderful gift. They are all our second family.”
