Colony Court Resident Profile

Say Hello to Lois

“Everyone is so friendly here and it’s been great. Everything is kept so nice, the food is delicious and I’m enjoying it very much!”

Lois Bushlack

Colony Court Resident

This month of November 2020, brings us to introduce a new resident, Lois Bushlack.
Lois was born on the family farm in Wells, MN, August of 1938. She grew up with two brothers and one sister and attended country school through the sixth grade, then finished high school in Wells, graduating in 1956. Lois moved to Minneapolis and worked for 1st National Bank for two years until she married Jim Bushlack. They lived in Wells for a few years, then moved to New Richland. Lois and Jim had two boys and a girl and spent much of their spare time cheering them on at sporting events. Lois also enjoyed playing cards, gardening and canning her produce. She worked part time at the school, the care center and 14 years at Land O Lakes candling and weighing eggs.

Recently it was recommended that Lois move to an assisted living facility. She chose Colony Court because she wanted to be near her family. “Everyone is so friendly here and it’s been great. Everything is kept so nice, the food is delicious and I’m enjoying it very much!”

Well, we’re enjoying having you here, Lois, and Welcome!

Thank You

My dad and our family were so blessed to have such an amazing group of people care for my dad. Along with getting to know the other residents was truly a wonderful gift. They are all our second family.”
