Colony Court Resident Profile

Say Hello to Norma

Norma Bonnier-Baffoe

Colony Court Resident

This month of December 2021 brings us to introduce another of our newer residents, Norma Bonnie-Baffoe.

Normas was born on the Neigebaurer family farm south of Owatonna, on February 3, 1936. She went to country school for her first eight years, then attended high school in town, graduating in 1954. Norma went on to college for her BA at the U fo M, then Mankato State for her BS & MBA. She worked for numerous companies including Pillsbury, the U of M in St. Paul, Evans Products and Brown Printing, where she was a Production Planner for many years. In between her jobs, Norma found herself in a brief marriage which produced a daughter who lives in Minnesota.

Traveling was one of Norma’s pastimes and so she found herself all over the world, including Oaxaca, Mexico, which is her favorite city. She also spent much time sewing quilts and reading in her spare hours.

This past year her daughter thought it would be good for Norma to move into Colony Court. Norma had a stepsister that lived here years ago so she was acquainted with us. “I feel welcome. It’s a very nice place.”

You are very nice too, Norma, and we’re glad you chose us!

Thank You

My dad and our family were so blessed to have such an amazing group of people care for my dad. Along with getting to know the other residents was truly a wonderful gift. They are all our second family.”
